What is visual perception?
Visual perception is the ability to understand, process, and apply visual information.
What are the types of visual perception problems?
There are 8 types: visual discrimination issues, visual figure-ground discrimination issues, visual sequencing issues, visual-motor processing issues, long- or short-term visual memory issues, visual-spatial issues, visual closure issues, and letter and symbol reversal issues.
To find out more information, including each type of visual discrimination, how each might appear in the classroom and at home, as well as strategies to support them, check out my ebook – Visual Perception Difficulties.
